Rigging Liability & Insurance

This notice applies across RigQuoteAI’s website, Desktop Copilot, estimating, Facility Intelligence, Prospect Intelligence, Industrial Leads, auction tools and provider workflows. It explains the platform’s role and should be read with the Terms of Service and the agreement for any physical work.

Technology platform, not the physical-work contractor

RigQuoteAI provides software, information, quoting workflows and connections to independent providers. RigQuoteAI does not itself perform, supervise, control or direct rigging, machinery removal, loading, transport, installation or other physical jobsite work. A software subscription, generated estimate, lead, provider listing, referral or work-order record does not by itself make RigQuoteAI the contractor, freight carrier, employer or insurer.

Identify the legal contracting parties in the final proposal or work agreement. A provider’s separate business obligations are not automatically RigQuoteAI’s obligations merely because the provider uses the platform.

Independent providers and customer verification

The provider performing work is responsible for its personnel, equipment, methods, safety practices, jobsite operations and services, subject to the customer-provider contract and applicable law. Before authorizing work, confirm scope, exclusions, schedule, access, permits, freight responsibilities, equipment requirements, insurance and project-specific risk allocation.

A directory entry, approved account, opportunity score, contact match or introduction is not a guarantee that a provider is suitable, available, properly equipped or insured for your particular job. Customers and providers must verify those details directly.

AI and software outputs are not engineered plans

Quote Copilot, Desktop Copilot, resource recommendations, benchmarks, machinery/photo analysis and facility or prospect dossiers are decision-support tools. They do not supply an engineered lift plan, equipment inspection, structural assessment, transportation permit, site survey or safety certification.

Qualified personnel must verify machine weight, center of gravity, lifting/pick points, rigging hardware, lifting-equipment capacities and charts, floor/ground loading, building clearances, utilities, site hazards and other critical conditions before physical work. A researched machinery clue or AI estimate must not be treated as confirmation of on-site equipment or a safe lifting method.

Certificates of Insurance

Participating providers represented as insured through the platform are required to maintain a current Certificate of Insurance (COI) on file under RigQuoteAI’s applicable provider standards. Customers may request the applicable COI on file from support@rigquoteai.com and should obtain any needed updates or additional verification from the provider or its insurance representative.

A COI summarizes stated insurance information. It does not create, expand or guarantee coverage, replace a policy or endorsement, or establish that a particular loss will be paid. Verify current dates, limits, deductibles, exclusions, relevant coverage and any additional-insured or other project-specific endorsements before work starts. If appropriate evidence cannot be verified, resolve that with the provider before proceeding.

Damage, incidents and claims

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RigQuoteAI is not responsible for machinery damage, property or facility damage, bodily injury, jobsite incidents or other losses caused by the physical services or acts or omissions of an independent provider. Responsibility is determined by the facts, applicable contracts, insurance coverage and law. Nothing here excludes responsibility or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Report an emergency to the appropriate emergency services and site personnel. Direct a physical-work claim to the contracting provider and, when appropriate, its insurer; preserve relevant documents and evidence and observe applicable reporting deadlines. You may also notify RigQuoteAI about a platform or provider-conduct concern, but notice to the platform is not a substitute for notice required by your contract or insurance policy.
