Intellectual Property Notice
Effective / last updated: September 27, 2026
© 2026 RigQuoteAI. All rights reserved, subject to applicable law and third-party rights.
This Notice applies across the RigQuoteAI product families: the website, Quote Copilot, Desktop Copilot / Desktop Quote Copilot, Facility Intelligence, Prospect Intelligence / Prospect Search, Industrial Leads, Opportunity Intelligence / Opportunity Radar, pricing benchmarks, auction/provider tools, reports, integrations and related current and future RigQuoteAI products. It should be read with the Terms of Service, including their permitted-use and software-license provisions.
1. Branding and original materials
RigQuoteAI™ identifies RigQuoteAI’s software and machinery-moving intelligence services. The ™ symbol does not assert federal trademark registration; the ® symbol is reserved for an applicable registered mark. Third-party names and marks identify their respective owners and do not imply endorsement or affiliation unless expressly stated.
To the extent protectable, RigQuoteAI and its licensors retain rights in original code, interfaces, site copy and graphics, logos, documentation, reports, dashboards, proposal formats, database selection/coordination/arrangement, annotations, normalized data structures and other original materials. A public product demonstration does not disclose or license the non-public implementation.
2. Desktop software and distribution
Desktop executables, installers, application assets and proprietary client/server code are licensed under the Terms, not sold as source-code ownership. Paid access or a downloaded installer does not grant rights to redistribute, rebrand, sublicense, sell copies or bypass installation/device limits. Separately licensed open-source components retain their own licenses and notices, and mandatory legal exceptions remain unaffected.
3. Estimating, resource planning and benchmarks
Non-public estimating systems may include proprietary normalization, equipment/resource mapping, mobilization and site-condition modeling, scope classification, comparable-evidence selection, confidence/review logic, pricing methodologies and outcome-learning processes. Exact source code, formulas, weights, thresholds, prompts, mappings, configuration and evaluation details are confidential where maintained as such.
Benchmark products may include original selection, quality review, source verification, aggregation, classification, statistical treatment, publication controls and presentation. RigQuoteAI does not claim ownership of underlying public facts merely because they are collected. Protectable compilations, original annotations, proprietary software, confidential source records and permitted derived analytics are distinct from those underlying facts.
4. Facility, prospect and opportunity intelligence
Facility Intelligence, Prospect Intelligence / Facility Prospect Search, Industrial Leads and Opportunity Radar may use proprietary research orchestration, company/facility matching, location and radius logic, source reconciliation, contact verification workflows, machinery/process classification, signal scoring, timing and service-fit inference, dossier presentation, saved-search and pipeline workflows, and quote handoffs.
Protection is claimed only where legally available for original expression, software, compilations, annotations and confidential implementation. We do not claim exclusive ownership of a facility’s existence, a public address, public event or other unprotectable fact, or of another party’s database merely because our tools refer to a source.
5. Copilot, automation and integrations
Non-public system instructions, prompts, retrieval and routing methods, tool configurations, guardrails, evaluations, proprietary context and workflow logic used for research, estimating, drafting or automation may be confidential proprietary assets. Access through a chat response, report, API or integration does not grant access to the underlying prompts, source code or confidential records.
6. Confidential information and trade secrets
Non-public historical quotes, accepted prices, actual costs, resource outcomes, customer/provider economics, eligible source and reference records, pricing events, enrichment logic, quality methods, internal analytics, authentication/licensing controls and other commercially valuable information may qualify as confidential information or trade secrets when legal requirements are met. This Notice does not replace the need to maintain secrecy or establish ownership.
Customer-owned information does not become RigQuoteAI-owned merely because it is processed. Rights to use submitted information and to create eligible de-identified or aggregated information are limited by the Terms, Privacy Policy, applicable agreements and law.
7. Extraction, copying and competing use
Except where expressly authorized or permitted by mandatory law, do not systematically scrape or bulk-extract protected content; create a substitute/shadow database; reconstruct proprietary pricing, source records, scoring or prompts through automated probing or prompt injection; reverse engineer protected software; bypass licensing/security controls; or use protected RigQuoteAI records and outputs to train, build or materially improve a competing software, data or intelligence product.
The Terms permit ordinary use of supported customer-facing estimates, proposals and exports in your own business workflow. That is not a license to resell the underlying platform or datasets. These restrictions do not claim ownership of general ideas, prohibit lawful independent development without misuse of protected material, or override applicable open-source licenses or rights that cannot legally be restricted.
8. User, third-party and AI-generated materials
Users retain rights in their submitted content, subject to applicable third-party rights and the limited permissions in the Terms. Public records, auction photos, equipment information, source articles, business information and third-party marks retain their applicable rights and usage restrictions. A link or citation is not a grant of permission to republish the original source.
AI-assisted outputs may contain user material, third-party facts and machine-generated text. We do not claim exclusive copyright in material that cannot legally be owned, nor guarantee that every output is unique, copyrightable or non-infringing. Users should review outputs and applicable rights before publication.
9. Future releases and reserved rights
This Notice extends to later RigQuoteAI releases, add-ons, renamed features and successor products within the Terms’ scope to the extent RigQuoteAI or its licensors actually hold applicable rights. It does not announce a patent grant, patent application, trademark registration or other registration that has not been established. It does not disclose or waive non-public rights or promise that a notice alone prevents copying.
10. Permissions and infringement concerns
Contact support@rigquoteai.com for written permissions or to report suspected infringement. Identify the material and its location, the rights you claim, your relationship to the rights holder and a way to contact you. Do not send trade secrets or unnecessary personal information in an initial report. This contact is a general rights-inquiry channel, not a representation of a registered statutory takedown-agent designation.
