GENERAL

General

What is RigQuote.ai?
RigQuote.ai is a machinery-removal intelligence and workflow platform built to help buyers, auctioneers and qualified rigging companies organize removal quoting, proposals, rigger matching, work orders and job activity.
Who is RigQuote.ai for?
RigQuote.ai is designed for machinery buyers, auction companies, industrial sellers and qualified rigging or machinery-moving companies involved in equipment removal projects.
What types of equipment can I request a quote for?
You can submit industrial machinery and equipment that may require removal, rigging, loading, packaging or related site-work planning. The information you provide is reviewed to determine the appropriate scope and pricing workflow.
Does RigQuote.ai replace the rigging company?
No. RigQuote.ai helps organize the quoting, provider-selection and job workflow. Physical field work is performed by the qualified rigging provider assigned to the accepted job under the applicable proposal and work order.
QUOTES & PRICING

Quotes & Pricing

How do I request a quote?
Go to Get a Quote and provide the equipment details, project location and access information, removal deadline, truck or trailer information when known, and either photos or an auction listing. The more complete the information, the better the job can be reviewed.
What information should I include with my quote request?
Useful information includes equipment description, manufacturer/model when known, approximate weight and dimensions, lot number, exact pickup location, removal deadline, door or access limitations, site rules, loading requirements, packaging needs, photos and the auction listing URL when applicable.
Why does the quote form ask about the truck or trailer?
Truck, trailer and container details can affect loading equipment, clearances, setup and rigging requirements. Asking for this information does not mean transportation is automatically included in the proposal.
Is the price automatically generated by AI?
RigQuote.ai may use estimating intelligence and historical job data to assist with pricing analysis, but customer-facing proposal pricing is reviewed before it is issued.
Can the price change after I receive a proposal?
The proposal defines the quoted scope. Work outside that agreed scope, changed site conditions or customer-requested additions may require revised pricing or a change order. Review the proposal terms for the specific job.
BUYERS

Buyers

What can a Buyer account do?
Buyer accounts can submit quote requests, review proposal activity, electronically sign accepted proposals and track related account and job activity from the RigQuote.ai portal.
Do I need an account to request a quote?
The quote workflow is designed to make requesting pricing simple. Creating an account gives you a central place to track requests, proposals, notifications and accepted-job activity.
Can I upload photos of the equipment?
Yes. Equipment photos are strongly encouraged because they help show access, machine configuration, surrounding conditions and potential removal challenges.
Can I use an auction listing instead of photos?
The quote form can use an auction listing URL as part of the job information. Depending on the project, additional photos or details may still be requested if the listing does not show enough information to evaluate removal.
AUCTIONEERS

Auctioneers

How can auction companies use RigQuote.ai?
Auctioneers can use RigQuote.ai to help buyers obtain machinery-removal pricing, organize removal information and connect accepted work with qualified rigging support around auction assets and removal deadlines.
Can buyers be directed to RigQuote.ai for removal pricing?
Yes. RigQuote.ai is designed to give buyers a structured way to submit equipment and site information so removal pricing can be reviewed without placing the entire quoting burden on the auction company.
Does RigQuote.ai need the auction lot number?
Lot numbers are very helpful because they make it easier to identify the exact equipment, keep proposals organized and coordinate removal activity with the auction listing.
RIGGERS & COMPLIANCE

Riggers & Compliance

How does a rigging company join RigQuote.ai?
Create a Rigger account, complete the company application, provide the required service territory and service radius, list equipment and capabilities, upload a current Certificate of Insurance, accept the Rigger Terms and submit the company for review.
Are Service Territory and Service Radius required?
Yes. Rigger accounts must provide both a Service Territory and a Service Radius in miles. These help RigQuote.ai determine whether a company is a practical match for an opportunity.
Is a Certificate of Insurance required?
Yes. A current COI is a hard compliance requirement for marketplace approval and new opportunities. The actual certificate must be uploaded for RigQuote.ai Admin review.
Who enters the COI expiration date?
The rigger uploads the certificate and Additional Insured information. RigQuote.ai Admin opens the actual document, enters the expiration date shown on the certificate and verifies the COI.
What happens when a COI expires?
An expired COI places the provider on Compliance Hold for new marketplace opportunities, bids and awards until a current replacement certificate is uploaded and verified.
Does uploading a COI automatically approve my company?
No. COI verification and company approval are separate steps. The application must be complete and submitted, the COI must be verified and RigQuote.ai Admin must approve the rigger before marketplace access is activated.
What information can a rigger see after approval?
Approved riggers can see their own opportunities, bids, awarded work orders and operational job information needed to perform the assigned work. Internal RigQuote.ai pricing intelligence, customer margin information and other riggers’ bids are not shared.
PROPOSALS, E-SIGN & JOBS

Proposals, E-Sign & Jobs

How do I receive a proposal?
When pricing is ready, the customer receives a RigQuote.ai proposal notification and secure proposal access. The proposal describes the scope, price and applicable terms for that project.
Can proposals be electronically signed?
Yes. Accepted proposals can be electronically signed through the secure RigQuote.ai proposal workflow. A signed copy is generated and retained as part of the accepted-job record.
What happens after I sign a proposal?
The accepted work moves into the job workflow. RigQuote.ai can then coordinate provider assignment, work orders, scheduling, field updates and completion activity as applicable to that project.
Can the assigned rigger update the job from the field?
Yes. The rigger workflow supports mobilization, arrival, work-start updates, field notes, photos and completion information for awarded work orders.
TRANSPORTATION & LOADING

Transportation & Loading

Does RigQuote.ai provide trucking or transportation?
Transportation or carrier service is only included when the specific proposal clearly says it is included. Otherwise the buyer or customer is responsible for the carrier, truck, trailer or container, driver, transportation permits and transportation schedule.
Why does RigQuote.ai need carrier or trailer information if trucking is not included?
The rigging provider may need to know trailer type, deck height, container type, loading direction, arrival timing and other carrier details so the correct loading method and equipment can be planned.
Can RigQuote.ai recommend or coordinate around a carrier?
Project communications may include carrier-related loading information or coordination needed for the rigging scope, but the proposal controls whether transportation itself is included.
ACCOUNTS, NOTIFICATIONS & SUPPORT

Accounts, Notifications & Support

What account types are available?
RigQuote.ai supports Buyer, Auctioneer and Rigger account types. Rigger accounts have additional qualification and compliance requirements before marketplace access is enabled.

RigQuote.ai sends transactional emails for important workflow events such as account actions, quote activity, proposals, rigger applications, COI review, opportunities and work orders when those events apply to your account.
